I started playing DF2 in May or so of 2001 and within a few weeks found myself in the LoS (Legion of Seals) server. After a few more weeks I was recruited by General Blade (later Rayden) and joined as a private. Next, because of the problems the squad was having with euro/u.s. players coordinating and playing together, I volunteered to start a U.S. platoon and do the linked website for it and was promoted to Colonel. . This went pretty good and things got better for the squad for a little while--then we started having problems..........no need going into what they were.....so....myself, Trajan, Python, and Black decided to start our own squad with the hopes that we could do much better, and I think we did, though it hasn't been easy and I now know what Blade must have been going through, lol. Anyways, we started a Council and started recruiting and have been going (except the few months we were disbanned) for about 4 years now. We've had several hundred members come and go and we continue to strive to first and foremost, "HAVE FUN", and then to work hard at being the best in DF2. It's been a long road and I thank my friends in the council and all the players who have been a part of this squad for all of your hard work and dedication......Long Live the Praetorians!!!

I joined DF2 with a year of DF1 under my belt and immediately joined a squad called WK (which Maxumus was also in). WK went well, thanks to me, but eventually split up and i joined LoS. LoS was THE squad at the time, good rep and serious game players.. I had the skills and was willing to put the time in, I rose to Captain until my new friends: Trajan; Macros; Python who were higher ranking members left.... They asked me to go with them and i did... The reason for leaving was a communication difficulty with Blade, he didnt take any advice and ruled LoS like a king.... I came up with the name of >>P<< and we started off our squad. Through some tough times we persevered and now it has grown to new heights and hope it continues to do so..........

It seems so long ago that I bought this game that looked quite cool, the game was Delta Force 2 and I thought I would give it a try. I started to play in the servers and came across a squad called Legion of Seals (LoS). I played in the tryouts with the leader of the squad called Blade and for whatever reason he decided to give me a try. I worked my way up through te ranks meeting some good friends along the way. Greg (Macros) Toby (Black Jesus) Mark (Python) have been with me through many a battle. Things started to get a little hard in LoS so after a lot of thought we decided to make the big step of making our own squad and we became the Praetorians, >>P<<. Now with over 40 members and with the original friends still about I think i made a good choice when i bought DF2.

It was a nice evening when my bro moved in with me, and with him his DF2 game. After spending a few months playing missions I discovered the Online part of DF2. After hosting Coop Missions I got bored and decided to join another server, It was called >>P<< vs All. When I came in some one asked me if I was trying out and if I had MSN, at the time I didn't know what was a Tryouts or a MSN but I decided to agree at the time (Took me few month to understand how it worked). After Talking to ^Trajan>>P<< for a long time knowing that he is a nice person, he Recruited me,a Noob, from the beginning of 2002 and on for a year I was in >>P<<. Later I decided to leave >>P<< for personal reasons, but I came back to the game and felt bad coming back to >>P<< and decided to open PoG (Protectors of God) It didn't work but it was a unique experience.>>P<< decided to close their doors for unknown reasons to me,. but decided to open >>P<< squad back up and asked me to re-join, and knowing that I always wanted to rejoin >>P<< with out thinking I said Yes!! and this is my No0B Story....

For me it started 2 weeks after I bought Delta Force 2. I wasnt very good at the time but Black must have seen something in me. I decided to join not knowing exactly what to expect. At the time we had only a council with Trajan, Python and Macros in. I first met Macros who looked to see if i was good enough for >>P<<, after a few maps of me not really winning, he decided that I could stay. After a time i started hosting servers and tryouts as much as possible. A month later they started ranks in >>P<< and i was asked to join the council. A lot has changed since then, people have come and gone, some came back after leaving. The squad started growing, when i joined it was about 15 but now its about 40. We have alot of those that we had in the beginning. Ive had good and bad times in >>P<<, once i even left but returned as df2 just wasnt fun without >>P<<. Not thinking of leaving anytime soon...
